The Cuypers House in Roermond has been included in the prestigious Iconic Houses Network of architects’ homes. The network consists of homes that hold significant importance in modern architecture and are open to the public as house museums. This is a major recognition for the Cuypers House and a significant step in the international promotion of the work of Pierre Cuypers (1827–1921).

“The inclusion of the Cuypers House in the Iconic Houses Network underscores Cuypers’ value as an architect and the importance of the Cuypers House to modern architecture. It is the first ‘Iconic House’ in Limburg and can certainly be described as a gem for Roermond and its rich history,” said Ferdinand Pleyte, alderman for culture and heritage.”
