Summer Activities at the Cuypershuis

This summer vacation, there’s plenty to discover, create, and experience at the Cuypershuis. Help build a large bamboo structure, paint a block figure for Octavie Wolters’ artwork, or assist in making an insect house for the museum garden. You can also go on a scavenger hunt through the museum or get creative with building blocks in the Bouwmeesterskelder.

Scavenger Hunts and Building Activities at the Cuypershuis

During summer vacation, you can always go on a scavenger hunt at the Cuypershuis in the exhibition about architect Pierre Cuypers and textile artist Claudy Jongstra. In the museum’s basement, you can try your hand at being an architect: build your own castle, house, museum, or other building! Tip: the basement is nice and cool when it’s hot outside.

New in the museum shop:

A real museum passport has recently become available for purchase in the museum shop. In the passport, you can keep track of which museums you’ve visited, what you thought of them, and collect stamps and stickers. Will your first stamp be from the Cuypershuis?
